Titanium Telecaster Bridge Plate
The ultimate bridge plate upgrade for your 3-saddle Tele, our Titanium Telecaster Bridge Plate is crafted in the USA for maximum tone, durability and awesomeness!
Drilled for the vintage 4-hole 2.55″ mounting pattern, our Titanium Telecaster Bridge Plate accepts standard vintage-style or compensated barrel saddles. The bridge plates measures about 3-1/8″ wide, 3-17/32″ long and 3/8″ tall. Each comes with 4 stainless steel slotted oval head mounting screws.
We make these in house, right here in rockin’ Indiana, USA, out of .071″ 6Al-4V Class 5 Titanium alloy. The rear lip is specially bent so it lays back by about 5 degrees from vertical and the top corners are also gently rounded, for a smooth feel against your muting hand. Our Titanium Telecaster Bridge Plate is super strong but weighs in at a very svelte 45g. Compare that to a vintage Ash Tray Tele bridge at 65g or a modern MIM bridge at 128g!
Titanium is impervious to salt water and can be substituted for stainless steel, with a 200% strength improvement. Compared to 6061 aluminum, titanium is about 60% more dense but twice as strong. In addition, titanium is also biocompatible (it is non-toxic and is not rejected by the body), which makes it a good choice for jewelry or body piercings for people with allergies.
