RockRabbit LP Toggle Telecaster Control Plate
Maybe your first guitar was a Gibson with a toggle switch and you’ve never really gotten used to the odd forward-back lever switch of a stock Tele? Or maybe you just dig toggles? Either way, we’ve got the Telecaster control plate design for you!
Which Switch?
This plate is designed for the American Switchcraft short toggle switch part #12120X. The hole for the toggle is offset just enough to fit the underside of the switch into a Tele control route. I’ve not checked which import switches will also work, as I personally use Switchcraft exclusively. But, I can say that the long toggle for carve top LP will not fit into a standard Tele route, just too tall.
Hand-made in America
We CNC these LP Toggle Tele plates out of .062″ 7075-T6 Aircraft Aluminum and 6Al-4V Titaniumin house, right here in the USA, for our line of guitars and are pleased to also offer them separately.

It started in Valparaiso, Indiana in 2014 with the idea that America used to build things. Things that people actually wanted because they were smartly designed and built by craftsmen who cared. The past isn’t coming back, but RockRabbit believes that it can use all the technology available to make ‘Made in America’ viable in a global market. We are honored to have shipped American guitars and custom hardware to guitarists and builders in over 30 countries.
