RockRabbit Copper Brushed Ti Basic Bitch Guitar
Time to clean some of the guitar show display models off the office wall!
Here’s a variation on our Copper Metallic Nitro Finish over black. This one we brushed the Titanium pickguard, bridge, and control plate to show off the nitro sparkle even more. This Basic Bitch has been played at bunch of our guitar shows and also loaned out for session recordings. It’s not quite new anymore, although the worst wear is the chip on the corner of the body (see pic). Still an awesome playing guitar and the Bare Knuckle Brown Sugar pickups on a roasted pine body make for the best midrange punch!
Copper Metallic Nitro
When you see this Basic Bitch guitar in person, the metallic color changes from a new copper penny to an aged green copper color. It’s always a ‘wow’ piece at a guitar show! We start with a black base coat and then blend in Roth Metal Flake into clear nitro. Very old school. Coat the metallic until it sparkles and then finish off with clear nitro until the guitar is smooth and level. It’s a slow process, but totally worth it!
Compensated Titanium Saddles
Besides the saddles, which are available here, there are also some special pieces on this Copper Brushed Ti Basic Bitch. This was the original Flyweight Titanium guitar. The titanium pickguard, control plate, and bridge plate are all a matching .035″ thin of super strong Grade 5 annealed alloy. The hardware sits very low on the guitar top, for a very clean look that’s great to play!

Made in Indiana, not Indonesia
Why buy RockRabbit?
RockRabbit Guitars proudly crafts Basic Bitch guitars along with the best guitar hardware for musicians, boutique guitar builders and OEMs. Using American aircraft-grade materials, we machine premium guitar parts like titanium bridges and saddles, neck, and control plates that are ergonomically designed for maximum tone and playability.
It started in Valparaiso, Indiana in 2014 with the idea that America used to build things. Things that people actually wanted because they were smartly designed and built by craftsmen who cared. The past isn’t coming back, but RockRabbit believes that it can use all the technology available to make ‘Made in America’ viable in a global market. We are honored to have shipped American guitars and custom hardware to guitarists and builders in over 30 countries.
