Aluminum Telecaster Bridge Plate
Our Aluminum Telecaster Bridge Plate is cut from a solid billet of 7075-T6 Aircraft-grade material with our in-house CNC mill.
RockRabbit’s recipe for the lightest Tele Bridge is simple. Start with a solid chunk of aircraft-grade aluminum and then start cutting away with our CNC vertical mill. What’s left is an Aluminum Telecaster Bridge Plate that weighs only 28 grams! That’s LESS than HALF of a factory steel bridge plate. Shoot, that’s even lighter than the Fender knob used in these pics (34 grams)!
And strong, too! We started with a beefy design and then thinned this bridge plate for the best strength to weight ratio. After 7 prototypes altering details like: side and bottom thickness, inside fillet radius, and bottom roundover radius- this design is finally ready to rock.
Drilled for the vintage 4-hole 2.55″ mounting pattern, our Aluminum Telecaster Bridge Plate accepts standard vintage-style or compensated barrel saddles. The bridge plates measures about 3-1/16″ wide, 3-7/16″ long and 3/8″ tall. Each comes with 4 stainless steel slotted oval head mounting screws.
